Tempered glass is the secondary processed product of plate glass, tempered glass production line mainly includes loading platform, heating furnace, flat quench and unloading platform, plus industrial fans and blowers, air bellow, air duct, electric control system and computer terminals and other auxiliary facilities. 

The original glass enters the heating furnace from loading platform, after heating to the appropriate tempered temperature, then the glass is sent into flat quench for rapidly even quenching, finally enter the unloading platform. 

The function of centrifugal fans in tempered glass production line is supply enough air to cooling the glass from heating furnace to flat quench by conveyor belt. The flat quench is divided into rapid cooling section (high pressure area) and cooling section (low pressure area), and the air is provided by high pressure blower and low pressure blower.

1. Please use the fixed voltage and frequency as the label, and assemble the correct line according to the wiring diagram;

2. The change of voltage should be within 5% of fixed voltage. 10% is OK, but it is easy to break down during the long time, so better to avoid that;

3. There is no thermal overload protection device in high pressure blower, so please install the same power over load protection switch, and adjust the same value of safety current;

4. According to the motor power and electrical works, it needs to select standard wiring;

5. Confirming the rotation direction firstly. After the wiring, turn on the switch to confirm whether the rotation direction is the same as arrow and whether there is noise. Wrong rotation direction will reverse air suction and blowing order. If the ring blower is three-phase, change any two wiring among three external wiring;

6. To prevent electric leakage, ground lead is necessary.

In the designing, when the air pressure is between 30 KPA~200 KPA, this fan belongs to high pressure fan. Also called high pressure blower, it is different from general centrifugal fan.

When the impeller rotates, due to the centrifugal force, air move to outward and forward, thus forming a series of spiral movement. Air between the impeller blades spiraling rotates accelerately and pile the outside gas into side slot, after the air entering the side channel, it is compressed, then the air return to impeller blades and rotates accelerately again.

When the air moves along a spiral orbit and go through the impeller and the side channel, every impeller blade increases the degree of compression and acceleration. With the rotation, the kinetic energy of the gas increasing, the air pressure along the side of the channel increase further. When the air reach to the connection between side channel discharge and flange, the air is squeeze out of the blades and exhausted out of pump through the muffler.

(6) Installing silencers in industrial centrifugal fan air inlet and air outlet is also a good way to reduce noise, absorbing the sound energy by porous sound absorption material.
When sound waves go through the air inlet and outlet of porous sound absorption material, most sound energy is consumed away and becoming heat by overcoming frictional resistance and viscous drag resistance, so as to reduce the aerodynamic noise produced by centrifugal blower. 
Practice shows that, installing the silencers in air inlet or air outlet of centrifugal fan can usually reduce aerodynamic noise about 20 ~ 30 db (A).

(7) The size of the industrial centrifugal fan impeller outlet is generally larger than impeller inlet of front disc, so the air flow in the fan will causing many eddy flow at inlet arc section. Eddy flow will generate aerodynamic noise by frequently collision with casing and air inlet parts. In this case, designing the rectifying ring and baffle outside of air outlet, can effectively prevent the eddy flow in the centrifugal fan air inlet, thus reducing the aerodynamic noise generated by centrifugal fan.

(8) Applying backward swept blades in industrial centrifugal fan, that is to say, the impeller blades lean forward in impeller air outlet, while the impeller blades lean backward in impeller air inlet, avoiding gas flow channel changing rapidly. 
All these can reduce the aerodynamic noise by preventing eddy flow.

(9) Using wall plates or components as grading shield or protection cover, the noise will be blocked during the spreading. This will control the noise within a certain scale, and reduce centrifugal fan noise.

The fan classification 
1. According to different working principle, there are two categories, impeller type fan and displacement blower. 
Impeller type fan includes centrifugal fan and axial flow fan. The displacement blower includes piston fan and rotary fan.

2. According to different discharge pressure, there are 4 kinds fan. 
A: Ventilation fan, discharge pressure is below 14.7 Kpa. 
B: Air blower, discharge pressure is between from 14,7~ 300 Kpa. 
C. Gas compressor, discharge pressure is over 300 Kpa.
D. Vacuum pump, this fan can produce vacuum over 50 Kpa. This machine is used to improve, produce, and keep the vacuum of some enclosure space. 

3. According to air pressure, the impeller type fan can be divided into low pressure fan (air pressure below 1 Kpa); medium pressure fan (air pressure between 1~3Kpa), high pressure blower (air pressure 3~14.7 Kpa).
