Introduction

High temperature fan is widely used in iron and steel plant, metallurgy industry, chemical industry, electric power plant and other industries, and compared with normal centrifugal fan, high temperature fan has higher failure rate, and shorter service life. So, the installation and maintenance technical requirements is relatively higher, as well as more difficult.

1.1 Centrifugal Fan Main shaft Installation

Thermal expansion of the high temperature fan main shaft is achieved by the positioning end bearing axial direction moving. The main shaft thermal expansion under high temperature working condition has been considered during the designation, generally, the installation location dimension of bearing house and centrifugal fan impeller will be marked clearly in the drawing.

(1) according to the main shaft expansion direction, select the load end as positioning end;

(2) according to the cover difference to confirm locating bearing and non - locating bearings.

5. In the centrifugal fan selection, the most important is long-term economic operation quality and efficiency, other than one-time investment.

For stable operation, centrifugal fan needs to work around the highest efficiency point, and the working point is right of the pressure peak point in the performance curve (in larger airflow side, in general, the working pressure is 80% of pressure peak point).

3. During the centrifugal fan selection, what should be considered is air leakage loss,calculation error of pipeline system, and centrifugal fan airflow and air pressure deviation. In general, airflow safety factor is 1.05~1.1, air pressure safety factor is 1.10~1.15. But the safety factor should not be too big, in case the centrifugal fan works in low efficiency for long time.

4. If the centrifugal fan service condition is different from centrifugal fan sample (such as air temperature, air pressure), the centrifugal fan should be adjusted appropriatly.

1. FD Fan: FD fan supply secondary air, through air preheater, one part air as surrounding air, filling air and so on, which have effect on fuel nozzle flame, and at the same time, cool fuel nozzle.
