1. Selecting high efficiency, small size, large adjusting range centrifugal fans, meet acceptable performance, efficiency and quality requirements;

2. The centrifugal blower working point need to be near efficiency running point, to ensure the stable operation, avoid the fan works in surge area;

3. Reducing noise by decreasing the centrifugal fan speed and selecting bigger size blower;

4. If selecting oversize blower, the blower will works in small air volume area, pressure difference is big between air inlet and outlet, causing operation instability and high impulsive noise;

5. If selecting undersize blower, the fan will increase rotation speed, the air will have higher speed after leaving the blades, also causing higher noise;

6. In general, the average wind speed in fan air outlet is at 10 ~ 15 m/s, can not be more than 17 m/s;

7. The fan speed is less than 450 RPM, selecting 8 poles motor; 451 ~ 799 RPM, selecting 6 poles motor; 800 ~ 1500 RPM, selecting 4 poles motors; more than 1500 RPM, selecting 2 poles motors.

There are many causes for gas-solid two phase flow fan wear; some are the cause of the fan itself, such as fan structure, material, etc.; some are dust removal system causes, such as dust characteristics, dust concentration, etc.

Generally, fan wear resistant measures can be divided into two categories: passive anti-wear and driving anti-wear. 

Passive anti-wear is selecting appropriate wear-resisting material for fan or process wear resistant treatments to the fan parts.  
Although the passive anti-wear method has played a certain role in wear resistant measures, but it can not fundamentally eliminate and reduce wear.

The reasons why wear parts of the fan is not uniform is that the uneven distribution of solid particles in the air.

In general, the wear is serious in big concentration place, while the wear is light in small concentration places.

Using the front wear resistant blade cascade or increasing the guide vane are based on the perspective of gas dynamics, control particle motion to uniform distribution, and then reduce the wear and tear. 

After the impeller installed front wear resistant blade cascade or increasing the guide vane, and they will rotate with the impeller rotation. 5.2 Change the Hollow Blade to Solid Blade

This method is mainly aimed at airfoil blade. Due to the airfoil blade are hollow, so when the blades are worn through, dust particles will go into the blade, destroying the fan impeller balance, further more, reducing the service life.

In order to avoid this phenomenon, it is better to change the hollow blade to the equal thickness straight solid blade. But when the blade width is too large, changing to straight solid blades will decrease the strength and stiffness,even more causing deformation. In this case, it needs to add stiffener plate between front disc and rear disk in two adjacent blades.

In order to increase the blade wear resisting performance, welding wear-resisting welding wire in blade is a good measures.
